Which Brokerages Does AlphaLedger Support?
AlphaLedger currently supports MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
This means you can connect accounts from any brokerage that provides MT4 or MT5 access, even if the brokerage is not listed as a pre-configured option inside AlphaLedger.
Current brokerage coverage
AlphaLedger supports:
- MT4 accounts
- MT5 accounts
- Any brokerage using MT4 or MT5
- Pre-configured broker servers
- Custom broker server connections
If your broker uses MT4 or MT5, you should be able to connect it to AlphaLedger.
Pre-configured brokerages
AlphaLedger includes an extensive list of pre-configured brokerages and broker servers.
When connecting your trading account, you can search for your brokerage or server from the available list.
If your broker appears in the list, select it and continue with the connection process.
What if my brokerage is not listed?
If your brokerage or broker server is not listed, you can still connect manually using the Other option.
To do this:
- Select Other as the broker option
- Open your MT4 or MT5 platform
- Find the exact broker server name shown in MT4 or MT5
- Enter that exact server name into the Broker Server field
- Continue the connection process
The server name must match the name shown inside your MT4 or MT5 platform.
Why the broker server name matters
MT4 and MT5 brokerages often use specific server names for different account types, regions, or trading environments.
For example, a broker may have separate servers for:
- Live accounts
- Demo accounts
- Different regions
- Different account types
- Different trading platforms
Entering the exact server name helps AlphaLedger connect to the correct trading environment.
