Refund Policy Overview
Refund Policy Overview
AlphaLedger subscriptions and add-ons are generally paid in advance. This article explains when payments may be refundable and how cancellations affect future billing.
General refund policy
Unless required by law, stated at checkout, or agreed by AlphaLedger in writing, payments are final and non-refundable.
This may include:
- Subscription fees
- Add-on fees
- Renewal charges
- Yearly plan payments
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription or add-on to stop future renewal charges.
In most cases:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period
- You keep access until the billing period ends
- You are not automatically refunded for unused time
- You must cancel before the next billing date to avoid renewal charges
Refund exceptions
A refund may only be considered in limited cases, such as:
- A refund is required by applicable law
- A refund was clearly stated at checkout
- AlphaLedger approves the refund in writing
- There is a billing issue that needs review
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
Yearly plans
Yearly plans are billed annually and offered at a discounted rate.
Because they are paid in advance, yearly plans are generally non-refundable after purchase or renewal, unless an exception applies.
Add-ons
Add-ons are also generally non-refundable once processed.
If you no longer need an add-on, cancel it before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
How to request a review
If you believe there was a billing issue, contact AlphaLedger support and include:
- The email address used at checkout
- The plan or add-on purchased
- The transaction date
- A brief explanation of the issue
