Available Payment Options and Secure Transactions
Available Payment Options and Secure Transactions
AlphaLedger uses Whop to process checkout, subscription, and add-on payments securely.
When you purchase an AlphaLedger plan or add-on, your payment is completed through Whop’s checkout system. The payment options shown at checkout may vary depending on your location, currency, purchase type, and the payment methods available for that transaction.
Available payment options
Whop supports a wide range of payment methods, including card payments and local payment options.
Depending on where you are purchasing from, your available checkout options may include:
- Credit or debit card
- PayPal
- US Bank Transfer, also known as ACH
- EU bank transfers
- iDEAL
- Bancontact
- SEPA Debit
- Swish
- Twint
- MobilePay
- Vipps
- Cash App
- Crypto
- Other eligible local payment methods
Not every payment method is available for every customer or every purchase. The options you see at checkout are the payment methods currently available for your location and transaction.
Why payment options may vary
Payment methods are shown dynamically at checkout.
This means your available options may depend on:
- Your location
- Your checkout currency
- The plan or add-on you are purchasing
- Whether the payment is one-time or recurring
- The transaction amount
- The payment methods supported in your country or region
For example, a customer in the United States may see different payment options than a customer in Europe. Some local payment methods are only available in certain countries or currencies.
Paying for subscriptions
AlphaLedger subscriptions are recurring payments.
When you subscribe to a paid plan, your selected payment method may be charged automatically according to the billing cycle you choose.
AlphaLedger offers:
- Monthly billing
- Yearly billing
Yearly plans are approximately 20% cheaper than paying month to month. If you choose yearly billing, the checkout may show a monthly equivalent price, but the subscription is billed annually.
Paying for add-ons
AlphaLedger add-ons are purchased in addition to your main subscription plan.
Available add-ons may include:
- Additional account
- Live US CPA Audit
- Enterprise White-Labeling
Some add-ons are billed monthly, while enterprise options may require a custom arrangement.
Your final price and payment schedule will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
How transactions are processed securely
AlphaLedger does not ask you to send payment details manually.
Payments are processed through Whop’s secure checkout system. When you enter payment information, the transaction is handled by Whop and its payment infrastructure.
This helps keep the payment process secure by using standard online payment protections such as:
- Secure checkout processing
- Encrypted payment information
- Tokenized payment details
- Fraud and risk checks
- Authorization through your bank or payment provider
In most cases, AlphaLedger does not directly handle or store your full card details.
What happens after you pay
After your payment is approved, your AlphaLedger subscription or add-on access is activated according to the plan or product you purchased.
You may receive a confirmation from Whop, AlphaLedger, or both.
Your subscription details may include:
- The plan or add-on purchased
- The billing amount
- The billing cycle
- The renewal date
- The payment method used
- Access details for your AlphaLedger account
What if my payment fails?
A payment may fail for several reasons, including bank restrictions, insufficient funds, expired card details, incorrect billing information, or a payment method that is not supported for that transaction.
If your payment does not go through, try the following:
- Check that your payment details are correct
- Try a different payment method
- Make sure your bank or payment provider is not blocking the transaction
- Confirm that your card or account supports online and recurring payments
- Disable VPNs if your location-based payment options are not showing correctly
If the issue continues, contact your bank or payment provider first, then reach out to AlphaLedger support if you still need help.
Can I use a different payment method later?
In most cases, you can update your payment method through the billing or checkout portal provided by Whop.
This may be useful if:
- Your card expires
- You want to switch to another payment method
- A renewal payment fails
- You want future payments to use a different account or card
