How to Submit a Bug Report
If something does not look right in AlphaLedger, you can submit a bug report directly from inside the app.
Bug reports help the AlphaLedger team investigate issues with the user interface, account data, analytics, dashboards, or anything else that may need review.
When to submit a bug report
You should submit a bug report if you notice:
- Incorrect or missing account data
- A dashboard that does not look right
- An account that may need reprocessing
- A UI or UX issue
- A feature that is not working as expected
- A chart, metric, or value that appears incorrect
- Any other unexpected behavior inside the app
How to submit a bug report
To report a bug:
- Open AlphaLedger
- Go to the left-hand menu bar
- Click Report a Bug
- Select the affected account, if applicable
- Describe the issue clearly
- Add a screenshot, if helpful
- Submit the report
The more detail you provide, the easier it is for the team to investigate.
What to include
When submitting a bug report, try to include:
- Which account is affected
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Where in the app the issue appears
- A short description of the problem
- A screenshot, if possible
What happens after submission
After you submit a bug report, the AlphaLedger team will review it and investigate the issue.
You can also view your ticket status from the bug reporting area inside the app.
