How to Make an Account Publicly Visible

You can make an AlphaLedger trading account publicly visible if you are on at least the Pro Plan.

Before an account can be made public, AlphaLedger needs to verify that you own or control the trading account.

Requirements

To make an account public, you need:

• An active Pro Plan or higher
• A connected MT4 or MT5 trading account
• Access to the account’s investor password settings in MT4 or MT5
• A completed account ownership validation

How to validate account ownership

To validate your account:

• Open the trading account dashboard in AlphaLedger
• Click the settings wheel
• Find the account number
• Click Validate next to the account number
• Copy the validation password shown in AlphaLedger
• Open your MT4 or MT5 platform
• Temporarily change the current investor, or read-only, password to the validation password
• Return to AlphaLedger and click Validate

This process proves that you control the trading account.

Important note about the validation password

You only need to use the validation password for a short time during the validation process.

After the account has been validated, you can change your MT4 or MT5 investor password back to a password of your choice.

Making the account public

Once the account is validated, you can make it publicly visible.

After making the account public, you may be able to:

• Share the account’s public dashboard
• Make the account visible to others
• Join the leaderboard
• Show verified performance publicly

Choosing what stays private

When making an account public, you can choose which data is visible and which data remains private.

Depending on your settings, you may be able to control visibility for items such as:

• Open trades
• Balance values
• Performance data
• Other sensitive trading information

Review your privacy settings carefully before sharing your public dashboard.
